BEHIND THE PHOTOS

I'm Jimmy.

I make portraits where New York is part of the picture.

I'm drawn to what happens around the portrait: the walk between locations, a reflection in a window, or the expression that comes right after the pose.

I'll give you enough direction to feel comfortable and look good, then leave room for the session to loosen up. The goal is a gallery that feels polished, natural, and specific to you.

Enough detail to know what you're booking, without turning a portrait session into a production.

Do you help with posing?

Yes. Bring ideas if you have them; I’ll offer direction when it’s useful and keep shooting between the poses, too.

What if it rains?

We can find a covered route, lean into the weather, or move the session if the forecast makes our plan unworkable.

How do booking and the retainer work?

A $50 retainer reserves your date and is applied toward the session total. The remaining balance is due by the start of the session.

What if I need to reschedule or cancel?

The retainer is nonrefundable. With at least 48 hours’ notice, it may be transferred once to a new date. Changes within 48 hours require a new $50 retainer. Weather-related changes are always rescheduled without charge.

How many photos will I receive?

City Mini includes 20 edited photos and the Local Route includes 35. City Story starts with 50 edited photos; longer bookings include an expanded gallery based on the added coverage. Every image is delivered in high resolution through a private gallery.

When do I get the photos?

You’ll receive a private gallery of edited, high-resolution images within three days.
